How do you make the 3D laser images?

Our 3D Photo Crystals are created using specialist laser technology that engraves points within the crystal, hence the process ‘Sub-Surface’ laser engraving. The laser then focuses a high-powered beam on all three coordinates. Once the laser beam meets the necessary point and distance, the powerful laser pulse makes a tiny void or inclusion within the crystal.

The laser moves on to the next point and etches another point. Finally, after all the points have been made within the crystal, the end result is a 3 dimensional image constructed of thousands of points using various powers at different distances. As ‘Sub-Surface’ laser technology is used, the 3d photo is preserved within the crystal for life and never deteriorates or fades! Our 3d photo crystals make beautiful gifts for any occasion!
